Never used the second because it fit too tight -- maybe because of the extended battery. They promised to credit me back when I returned the first only I never had time to return the first one. Really hate that I bought it twice. I bought this over a year ago. The first one broke and Boxwave assured me it was very popular so I bought a second one. Also, I like to write on the screen rather than use the keyboard and that couldn't happen because of the plastic.
It would be nice if there was an option to fit the extended battery as well. They give you the option of buying parts that fit the regular and extended battery. Fits well but the color is already starting to come off the edges after having it for less than a month. I would purchase a similar product made by Seidio instead.
Nope. I was hoping this product had an edge over the others. However, this particular one is a WAY overpriced item. Ditto to all, the product works as specified. Checked e-bay and the exact same Items are less than $10.shipped. I think Boxwave is great and I have 3 mini-sync cables.
Anyway - I think that for a case that doesn't impede the slide out keyboard, this is about as good as you're going to get. As the previous reviewer stated, I also didn't realize that this case *only* fit over the slim - short life battery.which I have to recharge every few hours, not days as they specified.maybe I'm just on my phone too much.anyway - other than that, I've found the product to be very good to excellent.I'm not a "belt clip" guy - more of a "carpenter pants pocket" for my cell phone, and even with the additional width of the case, it still fits nicely in that pocket. I'm very happy with it - every function of the phone is still accessible with the case on - they should come out with one that fits over the longer life battery.I'll be keeping my eyes open for it.
About the 3rd time I bumped it, it broke and fell off the belt clip. It sticks out from your belt too far and is easy to bump into things with your expensive phone. Now I'm looking for a more robust case to protect my investment.RF I bought this case. It doesn't fit the oversize battery so I have to use the normal battery that I have to charge every couple days. Luckily the phone still works.
